Glen Murray has been placed on waivers by the Boston Bruins on Wednesday.
Murray still has one year remaining on his contract at $4.15 million. If he clears waivers, the Bruins can either buy him out, trade him, retain him on the big league roster, or send him to the minors so that his salary doesn't count against the cap.
