Sens Sign Hennessy

The Ottawa Senators have signed centre Josh Hennessy to a two-year, two-way contract. Hennessy played five games with the Senators last season and was held scoreless while averaging 3:45 of ice time per game. He started the season with the Senators, appearing in two games before being returned to Ottawa's American Hockey League affiliate in Binghamton. Hennessy was recalled on Jan. 31, playing three games before being reassigned to the B-Sens for the duration of the season. The 23-year-old made his National Hockey League debut with the Senators during the 2006-07 season, scoring one goal and registering four penalty minutes in 10 games. He scored his first NHL goal on Jan. 7, 2007
